Great confectionery with good coffee

In my opinion, this café should have earned 10 stars - within walking distance of our rented holiday apartment, this café invited you to linger at any time of the day in summer! I'm looking forward to being here again in summer! Greetings from AT

Anyone who has been here once will love to come back again and again. We love the great, lovingly furnished café and the cozy atmosphere. The pies and cakes taste world class.

Really a really great café, with very, very friendly and courteous staff! Food is very good and you can sit inside and outside very nicely! Worth a visit if you are on Sylt. We will be back!

A very nicely run coffee house, very nice staff, great cake counter, very, very tasty and finally a hot coffee. No matter where you are in the coffee house, be it outside or inside and even in the toilet, everything is furnished with love and humor. If you are on Sylt and want to feel a little like Alice in Wonderland, this is the place for you. A coffee house with history that will hopefully be written for a long time to come. A friendly service, delicious coffee - by the way, a special roast, and cakes that make every sweet heart beat faster (chocolate mouse with ganache and addictive potential) Here, too, a good hygiene concept is in place and you can enjoy it without hesitation.

Very nice people and incredibly delicious, special cakes and pies. The coffee is excellent too. In the small side street, you can enjoy yourself in the cozy outdoor area with pleasant background music. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and are not satisfied with mass processing, this friendly family business is the right choice. Will definitely be recommended.

A small Adventure with a feeling like you were sitting there in the '70s, very friendly, brisk staff. In terms of taste, as a hobby confectioner there is 👏, that's still real handcraft with love the smell of coffee is a wonderful pleasure, so the decent prices (near Friedrichstrasse Westerland) are justified, cozy and legggerrrr😘

What a taste explosion in delicious pastries. Nice and courteous staff. The female companions almost freaked out with joy when it came to furnishing the interior, "soooooo cute" it is. The cake prices 5 euros each are a bit more expensive in comparison.

Cafe Mateika is a pastry shop with delicious desserts. Service is very nice and friendly. Also very helpful with questions about certain ingredients. Recommendable. Well worth a visit.

Best breakfast in Westerland, large selection of cakes and super friendly and personable staff! In good weather, a place on the terrace is recommended, although this is on the street, it is mostly quiet here. Unreservedly recommendable.

In addition to being a great place to buy fancy cakes, a wonderful place for breakfast. You have the usual continental breakfast items, and also delicious fresh croissants, yogurt, eggs, etc. (see picture), in a nice ambience (both outdoors and indoors) and with a friendly service. While a bit pricey (a 0.2L glass of fresh orange juice will cost you €7), it's worth inviting family to celebrate a special occasion. I'm happy to return to Mateika again soon.

Very comfortable seating outside. The cakes are very generous and prepared with a lot of cream. The coffee tastes very good. There is also oat and almond milk.

Best café in Westerland, maybe even on the whole of Sylt. Well, the cakes and pies are tough, but if you want to save calories, you have to eat a salad. The staff is extremely warm and courteous. I think it's especially great that a really hot cappuccino is served - unfortunately that's not the case everywhere. You like to linger in the cozy ambience and let the afternoon go by.

Nice cafe with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The prices are still in the frame for Sylt, the cakes and pies but unfortunately not quite as good as they look. Even the cappuccino is nothing special, just comes out of the machine at the push of a button. I expected after the many great reviews probably a bit too much.

We were here today for the breakfast buffet with the family. A really great coffee house. The food was very good, the service very attentive and friendly and the ambience just heavenly. In short, the perfect start to Sunday.
